I DON'T GET BORED... I JUST GET CREATIVE

As a general rule, us creative types sometimes get bored... and if boredom sets in we tend to get angry and procrastinate more than normal... So, when boredom and frustration looks to be setting in I generally move onto a different task... or create something new... so since it was a new year, and I needed to conjur up some inspiration, from my otherwise delpeated inspiration stores... I switched off from the other stuff I was working on, and searched my library for a couple of images I could make something new out of...

So... this is the end result...

TO CREATE THIS....^^^....

I combined this...

AND THIS...

AND SOME OF MY GENERAL PAINTING AND DRAWING SKILL...

I don't know if you realise or not, but being a photographer ir more than just taking pictures... being an artist is more than making pictures... You're a story teller, 'cept, you dont let words get in the way of you making that story come to life... I don't know if you're like me, but if a book has pictures, I will look at the images then make my own conclusion about the story without even reading a word... Its a strange way to do things, but that is how my brain has always worked - in pictures... As an image maker, you have a responsibilty to your audience to create a story, to create an emotion... and build upon it... almost creating a sense of anticipation, a 'what could happen next' type feel... well, that is how I feel anyways... In the image I created above I have certainly created a new story... but it is not my job to tell you that story... you have to make your own story from the image I have given you... and every single person will come up with their own theory and story line from the image based upon your background, knowledge, experiences, etc...

I will do these things from time to time... I enjoy creating something new, exciting, and emotive... If I had time to actually paint, I would do it on a canvas, like i did in the olden days...

Ok, I could go on and on and on for days about the stuff... I just hope that you like what I am sticking up here....

Portrait and Art Photography

My Photo

I am a mother to 3 boys. And, in my spare time, I am a photographer, an Interior designer, an artist, a danish furniture and vintage wallpaper collector. I love my pink couch and my black walls and my HUGE 1960's glass mosaic that is on the front of my house... and no, I don't want to cover it up. I don't like to be the same as anyone else, and strive to be that little bit different to whatever else is around and I hope that shows in my works. I am available for photography, interior design and art comissions.
